SSC CGL Result 2017 for Tier 1 Out: Check Now - SSCEXPERT



Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier- I) 2017 through Online Mode. The SSC CGL Tier I was conducted from 05th to 24th August 2017 at various Centres all over the country. As per the SSC, total number of 15,43,418 candidates appeared in the exams

The tentative dates for ( Tier-II + Tier-III ) examination are changed from 21st Dec`17 to 24th Dec`17.




Steps to check SSC CGL Tier 1 2017 result after they are announced:


  1. Open SSC official website: www.ssc.nic.in
  2. Click on the "Result" tab.
  3. Click on "CGL" tab.
  4. You will find SSC CGL Tier I 2017 result PDF 
  5. To check whether you have qualified the exam or not, students can download the PDF – Press ctrl+f and add your roll no.

Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts (Group of Posts: B & D).

Paper-III is only for those candidates who have applied for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II & Compiler (Group of Posts:C).


Paper IV is only for those candidates who have applied for the post of Assistant Audit Officer (Group of Posts: A).

SSC Scientific Assistant Syllabus & Exam Pattern for IMD Recruitment 2017

As you all aware SSC IMD scientific assistant recruitment notification 2017 is out, Staff Selection Commission is going to conduct open competitive examination for the post of Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department (IMD) in online mode for total 1102 vacancy. The posts allotted by SSC Scientific Assistant exam will be Grade B, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the Level 6 of the Pay Matrix. Aspirants those who are eligible for the post must be curious about the SSC Scientific Assistant syllabus & exam pattern. We are sharing latest exam pattern and syllabus for Scientific Assistant 2017 which will be beneficial for your preparation. Just go through article-
There will be just 1 exam for India Meteorological Department(IMD) which consists of 2 parts - Part 1 and Part 2.

  • Part 1 will have 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
  • Part 2 will also have 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
  • Time duration will be 2 hours to attempt both the parts.
  • Part 1 is just like SSC CGL Tier I Paper consisting 25 questions from all the four sections (General Intelligence Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, General Awareness)
  • Part 2 consists of 100 questions related to Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
