SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking) - 2017

Finally Revised Exam Dates for SSC MTS 2017 Exam has been released by SSC. Paper-I of SSC MTS 2017 that was earlier leaked will be reconducted from 16th September to 31st October 2017.


SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff) Exam will be conducted first time in ONLINE Mode from 16th September to 31st October 2017 by the Staff Selection Commission. So, SSC has released the Practice Test for SSC MTS 2016-17 Exam.





SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has released the Admit Card and Application Status for the SSC MTS (Non-Technical) Exam 2016.

SSC MTS 2017 Notification

The SSC MTS 2017 Notification was released on 31st December 2016. The closing date for the SSC MTS 2017 Application Process was 30th January 2017. The exam was scheduled on 30th April 2017. But the paper was leaked, so, SSC has decided to re-conduct the paper through online examination in the month of September-October.

As per SSC MTS Notification 2017 was released on 31st December 2016, a total of 8300 vacancieswere declared to be filled through SSC MTS 2017.As the paper is really popular among candidates seeking a job in Government Sector, around 6 million candidates have applied for this exam.

SSC MTS 2017 Exam Centre

The notification for SSC MTS 2017 was released on 31st December 2016. SSC conducts SSC MTS 2017 Exam every year at various centres all across the country.Candidates are given the option to select the centre of their choice while filling in the application form. The final allotment of the centre by SSC is done based on the choice of the candidate. If in any case there is unavailability of seat in the selected Centre, SSC will change the location as per the availability. Candidates do not hold the authority to question SSC for the same.

SSC MTS 2017 Recruitment

SSC or Staff Selection Commission conducts Multi-Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) every year in 2 different stages:
  • Paper 1 and
  • Descriptive Test
It is mandatory for the candidate to qualify both these stages of examination in order to make it to the merit list prepared by SSC prepared at the end.

SSC MTS 2017 Eligibility Criteria

There are three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfill in order to be eligible for SSC MTS 2017 Exam. Let’s have a look at all these three criteria:
Nationality: A candidate is required to be
  • A citizen of India
  • Subject of Nepal
  • Subject of Bhutan
  • Tibetan Refugee
  • Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afganistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
Age: A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age as on 01.08.2016. Apart from the pre-mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.

SSC CGL 2017 Recruitment Notification Vacancy & Exam Dates


The official recruitment notification for SSC CGL 2017 has been finally released by Staff Selection Committee of India. As per that, Tier I exam of SSC CGL 2017 will be conducted from 5th August 2017 to 23rd August 2017. SSC CGL 2017 Tier II exam is due on 27th to 30th November 2017. SSC CGL TIER I Exam 2017 - Result Expected Dates



Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I examination, 2017 results will be declared at ssc.nic.in


As per the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I exam, 2017 will be declared on October 31, 2017.
Once the SSC releases the CGL Tier I results, candidates can check the same on the official website of SSC.
The SSC CGL Tier I examination, 2017 was conducted from August 5 to August 23. As reported by SSC, a total of 15, 43,962 candidates appeared in the examination, which was conducted in 43 batches across the country.

How to check the SSC CGL Tier 1 results 2017:

  • A PDF page containing list of candidates who have qualified for Tier II exam will open
  • Download and take print out of the same for future reference.
The tentative answer key of the Tier 1 examination will be released on September 18, 2017. Candidates who clear Tier-I will be eligible to sit for the Tier-II examination.

Selection process:

Those candidates who will clear SSC CGL Tier I exam 2017 shall be eligible for the Tier II exam which is scheduled to be held on November 10 and November 11.  Further, the SSC CGL Tier-III Exam 2017 will be conducted on January 2, 2018.
